while we are on the subject. i think there is still works to be done regarding the manager's contract. In the game, the broad is very slow in renewing manager's contract, whether it's human manager or AI manager. They would not act at all until the bloody thingis expire. This behaviour is not normal, especially if the manager is doing well, and/or in danger of moving to another club.
The weird thing is that AI is quite capable to offer the players and other non-playing staff a new contract when there is a hostile approach to them. Try to sign a good coach from the AI team, and more than likely the AI team will offer him a new contract to stay. This however do not apply to mangaer. They just leave it.
The total lack of initalive of renewing a manager contract is silly too. The success of the manager has almost no effect on when the broad will offer you a new contract. whether you successful or not they will not talk about the contract until six months before it expire. You cannot request the damn thing. You can't moan to the media about it. In FM2008 it's even worse now that they made you wait until the final season finish before they give you any offer.
Maybe SI should havea look at the AI behind the manager's contract.
