High profile players who play for big clubs but do not play never leave, no matter how much they complain or how long they have sat on the bench. They even sign new contracts.

I find that not only do other clubs not go for them, it is almost impossible to buy them unless you are a top club

Yep, I’ve the same problem in my Solihull Moors game.

Last weekend I entered the Premier League (yeps, with The Moors!!!), bought some new players and replaced those new ones again on New Years Eve by better ones.

Those old ‘new’ ones are having a CA around the 130-140.
Which is making them ideal for the Coca Cola Championship.
When I was playing in that league I was hunting desperately for such players. And I just could attract a few of that calibre at a reasonable price.

So now, I want to get rid of these guys, I offer them at a ¼ the value and still nobody wants them…

I even offered one for free and again nobody wants him.

And these guys would be stars in the Coca Cola Championship…

After signing a truckload of high profile stars on a free I needed to offload Nakamura when he was valued at 3.2m cos of wages. Wolves took him for 300k. Worth it to get his wages off the books - along with a couple of others - but it IS unrealistic.

Scholes and Giggs at ManU were well past it when I was in the Champ but thought they could hack it. They even signed new Man U contracts worth less than I'd pay them. Early in the season they were transfer listed with "Not Needed" statuses, but still no. Okay, I was Leeds, but other Man U rejects have joined us IRL (Lee Sharpe anyone?).
