Does anyone try to promote their feeder club?

I am Newcastle and have got Falkirk as a feeder club. I have sent them 10 players for a season including Ameobi, Carr, Pattison, Krul, Robertson and Law (bought from sheff united) all of these have gone straight into their first team lol

Yea I do. Always try to help them out as much as I can. Usually a lot lower league teams as feeder clubs.

It's like an added excitement to the game, seeing your players taking another team up the leagues

I don't generally have enough quality in my reserves to achieve this. If I don't want some one I sell them or loan them to a team that will pay at least some og their wages.

I only loan younger guys who aren't usually good enough to completely transform my feeders clubs fortunes to the extent that you are talking about.

i'm playing with Benfica and had Sheffield as feeder club, they managed to get to premier league but didn't avoid regalation, then they canceled our deal... funny part is that when i asked for a feeder club again their name showed up again lol but of course i didnt choose them again, instead i got portsmouth

Had Gretna in FM07 and sent them a couple of great players until they became established in the SPL, decided they didnt need my help anymore and promptly got relegated again.

I like doing this too.

I had a Spanish Segunda team as a feeder for Man Utd once and sent most of my reserves off there on loan.

They got promoted and are an average mid-table club in the Spanish "Primera" Division. Good thing now is that they have good facilities, play in a strong and high reputation league, so valuable link for me to send players for experience and development.
