No way were the board issues resolved with the patch.

At Spurs I am expected to challenge for the title within 2 years. 1st year I finish a disappointing 7th, but win the LC so still make Europe, albeit not through the league as requested(though I chose top half finish option at the beginning and was given a lower budget to reflect this).

Second season, the one where I MUST challenge for the title to meet the long term plan, and they offer me the mid table option!!?? So I only need to finish mid table, but challenge for the title in the process?

Not the same as the original posters problem, but just another example of board stupidity.

I agree, although I must admit it is slightly better with the new patch, but it's still poorly implemented. Definately needs improving for the next patch along with the match engine.

When i was managering Man Utd, i only got a two year contract at the start of the game and my expectations was to win the league after the two year plan, but i won it in the first season and got a one year extention on my contract, then my expections was to win the league in the two year plan.

So check your contract.

i think Pompey is referring to the bug where if you overarchive, the Broad don't understand it and scak you for failing to reach the target (e.g. target is win championship by season four. you promoted in season two so you cannot win the championship in season four and they sack you). That bug was fixed in the patch, but the issue is a totally different thing which affecting Sussex Hammer.
