Player name Velev was injured in the 2 min of the game.

After match analysis goes something like this:

Key man to watch: Georgi Velev - He played well. His running was key to the way his team went about attacking.

I've often thought the after match analysis was poor but come on this is total rubbish. Come have used a different word there.

I had this happen after my on-loan striker, Fraizer Campbell, was injured after six minutes playing for my Nottingham Forest team. It's utter, utter tripe. How hard would it have been to create a key man watch that went something like the following? -

'He was injured too early on in the game to be able to make much of an impact.'

I had a opposition key man watch that said he was a giant in defence for his team.

He was sent off in the 5th minute and they lost 6-1!!

The key man watch is decided at the start of a game. A player is picked out at the start of a game and that same player will be commented on at the end of the match.

You never get 2 different players commented on at the start and end of a game, that's just not how it works.

Sorry, I'm tired. Just re-read the thread properly and realised what the actual issue is that you're raising.

I agree that more appropriate comments need to be included if the player is injured early on or gets sent off.
