This is one of those threads, that between clicking on the title and the page loading up, i realised i shouldn't have bothered....

1) If you have a serious point to make about data in-game, post in the data forums. NOT in GQ.

2) Any data suggestions need to be backed up by FACT. Not bby what pundits say and news papers print. As Ackter points out above, if papers spoke the truth, ronaldinho, gerrard, eto'o, ronaldo etc would be playing for chelsea now - they lie, because sensationalist bullshit sells better than fact. (or rather they print any vague rumour, because thanks the Mr Gerrard prosecuting a spanish news paper, they're a little more careful about outright lies).

3) Sorry to burst your bubble but "Newcastles chairman will pledge all of his funds" is the single funniest thing i've read today.

He isn't going to bankrupt himself. Ever. His laughable attempts to make himself look like a fan are nothing more than PR.

How many other premiership (or even top european?) club owners feel the need to wear club shirts?

Anyway, can we close this thread already? I have no intention of reporting it....

Forgot to point out, many non newcastle fans are basing much of their knowledge on paper talk. Many of the problems that have been involved with the club recently are down to poor manager appointments and stuped transfers made by the previous board, and not down to supporter pressure which everyone seems to believe.
