When you're a quite big club, and sign someone as cover, clearing giving him "Back-up" status when offering a contract (most of the time it is even what he asks for) but without fail they will soon start moaning that they aren't getting first team football regularly.
It would also be nice to see, maybe in a scout report, if a goalkeeper would be willing to be a back-up goalkeeper. Many times I've signed a relatively unknown goalkeeper as a number 2 only to have them start moaning and demand to leave since they aren't playing. Why agree to "Back-up" status then?!
I know every player has a degree of ambition, but it still irks me.
