Is there a way to repay loans faster than by the monthly interests? Atm, I have a $Au280m balance for transfers but would like to pay off a bit of the debt and thus reducing the amount of interest payable.

I really, really wish that there was, but there isn't. Not even an improvement in your financial stability will result in a chunk of the loan being payed.

Its nonsense really, many seasons I'd happily give half my transfer budget to paying back the loan, but I guess it just doesn't happen in real life. It has nothing to do with the manager, just the board and chairman.

I don't spend alot in transfers. I tend to buy the youngsters that my scouts think are at least a good signing.

Have a feeling I could still have a debt of $1b and have a transfer balance of $750m

I'm in the same situation with Nottm Forest.

I've got an overall balance of 20m GBP. I owe 12m in loans. I make a profit each month of about 200k as I spread my transfer income over 24mths for each player I sell instead of receiving it in one lump sum so I have a steady stream of income.

I'd be happy for my board to pay off the loans and leave 8m in the bank. It'll save a fortune in interest in the long term.

I too rarely spend millions on players as I prefer buying bargains. There's not many expensive players that want to join me anyway.

I'd like to see an option in the board room to 'refinance' or 'pay off' loan.
