fmf files!! How do I change (unpack) them into folders like on previous editions to change graphics etc?

Iv tried creating my own folders it hasnt seemed to work and im completely inept when it comes to these things.

step by step help may be required please,

You can't unpack it without the unpacker tool, that SI doesn't care to release. Their customer care it is on a downwards spiral. In october they said the tool was soon to be released. It's about time that someone from SI (obviously not Ter, cause he says he doesn't know when) tell us when the release will be.

Yes it would be nice to know what the status is with the FMF tool.

I think Sega or SI want to restrict people skinning the game and this is the first step in that direction.

It must annoy Ter that there's so many quality skinners out there that do graphics for a little hobby and produce quality that he can only dream of.

Didn't realize that such a thing as ppl designing skins would be such a problem considering the success of the game and the fact that you don't buy new skins anyway to install onto the game anyhoo.

Its one of many reason why Iv enjoyed playing the game in the past because its easy and simple to customize. Especially me, and my poor relationship with technology, its something that everyone used to be able to do.

Ah well, hope its sorted out soon.

Agreed - this game has been a backwards step in nearly all aspects - from the match engine right through to the customisability (new word!) because SI won't release a simple tool.

They shouldn't have used a specialised format if the tool was so far away from release, its just bad, bad planning.

as a MAC game-player you just have to deal with it, it's the only winning thing PC has left!!!

I hope Sigames will feel it next year on sales.. (like, Eastside Hockey Manager)
