No, it's totally different. In Fuss' case, he is already a very successful club manager and there is no need for his board to sell his players unnecessarily. The board only does so because there is no takeover and the board is the same as it was at the start of the game, not recognising Fuss' achievements. In a sense, it is a flaw of the game. Nothing wrong with using FMM to correct it.

I make small edits to the game, i dont make huge changes to it, chelski offered 10mill for richards (man city) and man city said no irl, yet in the game the charman sold him for 8million after i said no, that isn't real, i make changes for the better.

there was another thread about this. Someone suggested selecting reject all offers, unavailable for transfer, unavailable for loan and then setting the asking price to zero.

That way clubs only offer a zero amount and each time you reject it without your chairman sticking his nose in. It works very well but if a player wants to leave he'll get unhappy about rejected offers from big clubs. It also means you genereate alot of unwanted interest in your player so lots of club bid during the transfer window. Helped me hang on to some gems until i could get promoted.

Yea this is particually annoying.

I've made WestHam one of the most successful and richest clubs in the world...yet the chairman still acts like we are gunna get religated.. selling my big name players for alot less than they are worth.

For Example:
I landed Woodgate for 3m in the 2nd season, its now afew season later and he's valued at around 11m, but my chairman accepted a bid of 5m for him!!

Luckily I just offered woodgate a new contract at the same time and he choose to stay with me, the only way i've found to deal with it is to offer playersnu contracts if the chairmna tries to sell them.

Dosn't always work though, my chairman already sold Defoe to Real Madrid

I dont think you can completely stop this from happening. I read on another thread in the general questions forum that the chairman will do this from time to time. Apparently its a new feature in the game that if the club get a really good offer for a player i.e 9million for a 4million player then the board will accept on your behalf. Also setting your chairmans stats to 0 is not a good idea because it only makes things random so the problem may not go away completely. Its much better to set the minimum values to 1.

Yip I saw the whole 0 thing being set as random maybe I just got lucky in my games so 1 it is from now on, I agree with the new feature, but maybe expand the pricing a bit, 10mill for even a 2mill top player isn't worth it, fingers crossed for the new patch is all I can say.
