Hey,

Inspiried by Laura1985's "Birth of a Nation II" thread I decided to create a new Nation with new teams, competition's, the lot. This time it is based on Space.

The nation is called Galactica, with the nationality of Galactican. The main language spoken in Galactica is USA. The teams in Galactica compete in the 3 main divisions, the Viper, Raider & Colonial Divisions. The 2 cup competitions are called the University Cup & the Galaxy Cup. Each teams money varies on their rep and league they play in.

I plan to continue to do updates and changes to the database as I go along, mainly to get the regens names sorted to Galactian names like Iota Aquarii or Helix Ursae Majoris.

There is a basic EDT file in there with a list of names for future regens, but I have to be honest and I'm not 100% that it works with the game as it's not been tested.

The database is available from FileFront.com, link - Link for Space Adventure Database , unfortunately there is no other copies available to download.

If people fancy putting up their progress or if they are enjoying it then we could create a thread in the FM Stories forum or somewhere like that, what do people think?

Also anybody good at making graphics? Or willing to try to make a 'Galaxy/Space/Universe' skin?

This looks very interesting. Just to sum something up, have you changed the things that Laura hadn't and was about too? Like so it has Galactica Player of the Month etc?

The teams have only 4 added players, everyone else they need to buy themselves.

Kees how are you getting on with the Regens, as I will definantley do this once there done... When you expecting to have them finished and the database released with them done???

Download the file from filefront by my link.
Once it's done move the zip file to

CDocuments and Settings\&lt;YourUser&gt;\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\db

Then right click and do 'extract here'

It's a long winded process. I need to re-name LOADS of players who have Northern Irish names, as the game gets the regen names from these.

Also I'm going to create a load of players with the correct nanmes so more have them.

I have no idea about how long it will take to do, not 100% sure how many players are Northern Irish in the game.

Ok. Well what im going to do, is install the database, and Holiday for a few years, ill post up my updates every season. That saves you having to do it. Thats if you dont mind. That way we can test it out.
