I am having problems with my defenders not making challenges and the attacking side effectively waltzing on through. In fact sometimes my opposition can dribble the length of the pitch without passing.

My mentality's are set at 5 for my CB, 8 for my FB, 8 for my DMC, 10 AMC, 12 wingers and 15 CF.

My closing down's are high because I thought this was at fault. DC 14, FB 14, DMC 12, AMC 12, wingers 10 and CF 12.

My defensive line is 1 above deep and width is first notch of wide

Any ideas lads?

Try not to close down as you will leave yourself exposed. Get DC with good positioning

What tony_mac said about closing down is true. I have also found that playing with a narrow formation doesn't hurt my attack but makes a big difference to my defense.
