taking a very good defensive tactics settings for the defense and combining them with the midfield and striker settings from a good attacking tactic??

I know it isnt as simple as this but surely this could give you a good base to work from??

Have tried and it was to different so it fall apart but i think it can be done with the two right tactic

I am pretty sure it won't be so easy. As Newcastle said, they are too different, so you basically break you team down to 2 units - defensive and attacking. But that's not how people play football these days. I guess it would work in 1920-1950s
