Just wondering how much players should have instuctions overiding the team instructions

I try not to give overly too many personal instructions as I like to make changes to the team instructions during the match and i find this works quite well. If everyone has personal instructions you have to change everyones if things start going wrong.

Should i consider instuctions for players like centre mids and strikers then?

Idividually I try and set a style of football so passing and mentallity I would do on an individual level. Tackling for most of my team I set globally except the defence I like my centre back on normal to try and minimalise penalties but my full backs on hard to try and keep crosses out of box. If you approach your tactics with a plan you can normally decide what you need but it will take a little while to get it right. Organise you tactics and when you concede try and decypher why e.g. did someone close down to much and leave a gap? And just take it from there.
