It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Squad internal fighting (how to deal, though it's funny)

This one is funny...

I was able to assemble a very determined team at Real Sociedad.

One of the ones which is not regarded as determined but rather as professional is Daniel Carvalho.

He's been my marquee player in the last season and started this season played wonderfully.

Then he had an injury and since he came back he's been extremely inconsistent and always tired (never recovered over 90%).

Today I saw the SLT sign for slight concern and then I read in his Personal page: Dislikes Lauri Dalla Valle.

These guys played together for more than a full season, Dalla Valle is my hot young gun and I was curious enough to go into his page and see if there was any indication of animosity against Carvalho.

Result? "Thinks Daniel Carvalho is a good player".

Is this game crazy?

Anyone passed through this?

Anything I could do? I know we're expected to let the lads sort it out amongst themselves, but I need Carvalho focused for upcoming clash with Man Utd in Champions League quarterfinals...

Is there a way?

Cheers and thanks,
Rodrigo

I think possibly there might be something in the game where star players feel threatened by up and coming players in similar positions. For example in FM07 I signed a regen striker who was dubbed the new Ronaldo and after 2 years on loan in Scotland delivered for me, scoring loads of goals for myself and the Brazil national team. By the end of the season, Jose Sosa who lost a lot of playing time disliked him.

As for solving it, if you can get someone to tutor Dalla Valle and attempt to adjust his personality. On a positive side players disliking each other doesnt always seem to have a big impact on there performance, if your lucky it wont be a major problem.

It's the same as FM07, if a player doesn't like another just give him a new contract and he forgets all about it.

Easy.

Money talks I guess.

I think I will try that in my current game half my team dislikes each other.

I can't just sell cause it's not just one player, I would have to sell 4 players to get some peace in the squad

Best way to overcome a player disliking another player is to bring in a coach/scout he recommends to take his mind off it. When the player is very happy with something else they seem to settle their differences.

I once tried to raid Chelsea as Arsenal for JL replacement.. thinking of buying off Cudicini from them .. Guess what.. Cudicini thinks he works well with Cech !

No wonder they lead the clean sheet table!

This happens in real life often. RVP and Henry were known to have not liked each other but were always full of praise for each others performances
