Yep, it could be a bug related to PPM. The reason I asked is because even when I see my team (I play Lyon in my current save) takes 20+ shots, they are distributed among players as you would expect (STs, AMCs, Wingers, DM, FBs DCs). And actually when I played Milan in FM07, I sold Kaka half season upon arrival (I was offered a job there in season 4). The reason was exactly as I stated earlier - he is brilliant but not team player. Well, at least I could not make him play for the team the way I understand it.

But the problem is that he got PPM " shoot from distance" ...so every time there a small chance for him to shoot at goal he does so


i think that ppm "shoot from distance" is messed up to be honest, its the exact same with gerrard and ive played him everywhere with every kind of instruction, he just shoots till the cows come home.

I made a 3-6-1(3-2-2-2-1) formation(the one I play PES) with one huge and strong guy in front working passes to my 2 AMCs.
I have put every1 one long shots slides to rarely. I was having like 20-30 shots a game and scoring like 1-2.
So i decided to watch a full match.
To my surprise my AMCs were receiving the ball outside the area and doing only 2 things with it. They shoot or they passed back to my target man that pass to them again. So I tried to move the slider of Run with Ball to Mixed and the result was that they were shooting less, but they still shooting from outside!!! I mean, they receive the ball with no defender in front of them, they could just run inside the area and even dribble the GK, but they just shoot!!! I think the real broken thing in the game is the stupidity of the players. The game wants you to tell your players everything they should do on details, and still, they wont do it everytime. I mean, if a player have a huge open space to run inside the area he will probably run! Of course he would try another things one time or another, but not everytime! The most normal thing to do is run inside the box.
Another bad thing is that Teams Talk plays a HUGE role in your team performance. That wouldnt be so bad if we had more options on team talks, but we are very limited with it! And team talks plays like 50% of your team perfomance.
I had a striker not scoring during 4 games. When i was against a much stronger team on cup, after a half time team talk the guy scored 4 goals and had a 9.

The game is not perfect, its the best around IMO, but still needs a lot to do what it wants to.

Oh, I have to add that until mid-season my striker had 14 goals and 7 assists, but sundenly he, and everyone that plays attacking roles on my team, stops scoring.
So, after spending hours making a tactic, taking account my team strenghts, etc. In mid-season it stops working? I mean, it was working the last 30 games, everyone was happy(havent lost until them) and suddenly only my defenders can score(on corners)??
every attacking player on my team(including the reservers and the ones im buying) is having a bad time?
oh! maybe is my tactic right? thats what ur tongues are itching to say... Yeah, of course is it, since you can see in real life every team changes its tactics at least 3 times a season right? wrong. Usualy the manager sets a default formation at the start of the season and stick with it(with minor changes) until the end of season(or another manager comes). Rarely changing it in some difficult games.
So, every season i have to completly change my tactics 3 times because i cant score? that real makes sense?
