I've had mixed results about this. I use Tugs2008 training which is great for getting your players stats up, but in previous FM's i've found when training players on positions schedules (e.g Strikers in one Schedule, Midfielders in another) the team does not perform as well. On the flip side, when i've trained the squad in a general team schedule the results improve but the stats don't improve as much.
I'm having pretty rotten luck at the moment in FM08 with my Spurs team anyway, but any ideas on whether it makes a difference in this version of the game. I find i can have have 20 shots in a game and not score, and the general finishing from my players is pretty poor on the highlights view.
Thanks

To Train Players in Groups or in One Schedule Post #2
i've always had the whole team on one schedule with your mortal enemies arsenal. training only improves stats dramatically at the start of the season after players return from holiday. i play a slow attacking style, so i make sure my ball control coach and attacking coach are the best at the club. that way, everyone improves the same stats at their own rate of improvement.
works so far, and i've not had loads of training injuries either. it also depends on how many players you have on first team training.

I've always had a different training schedule for every player at the club. No matter how much I train my strikers in shooting, they just can't finish!!!
