Is it really necessary to train an AMR to MR if u want to play them in a simple 442?

Its not necessary but i think he would be really attacking if you played him in MR , so i would train him to be MR as is will not take long

just out of curiosity, how do you retrain a player?

click on his profile, and then on the left side(depends of your skin) a little submenu (I thinks it's name is "Training") ... there you have overview ... and now select the new position to train the player ... you will have there in the middle another sub-menu, with the position that the player can learn (the position he already knows very good won`t be there)
