billy sharp is definately good for prem.

if hes left sunderland bring kenwyne jones back to prem hes awesome usually for lower prem sides.

look at artur boruc for gk maybe?
try loaning some utd/arsenal players too, dunno who on urs tho depends how theyve gone about business.

Pedro Esterilla scores alot usually dirt cheap but very difficult ot get work permit.

Altidore - striker at start of game easy to sign for under 2 mill usually.

try looking at relegated prem teams from first two and snatch some of there talents up.

Billy Sharp has scored over 20 goals a season for my Sunderland team including goals against the big teams the the goals that secured m e the Champion league trophy. Its hard to say who you should buy as a lot of the bargain players will have moved on by now.

Has Sidwell left Chelsea yet if not he is worth a buy for sure. Parlak Ilhan has been great for my Sunderland team but his PA is a -9 so sometimes he is crap. Just check out the loan list and try people like Cahais and others from the Argentina teams Waldo Ponce is a solid CB aswell. Lulinha is a good attacking mid but it depends if these players have moved from their original teams. Belluschi is an awesome winger but i doubt he will be at his starting club so maybe too expensive.

I would suggest the loan list and transfer list, I try to buyu fast defenders and fast strikers. Also like i said earlier check the reserves of Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea as they all may have bought better players than they start with and this puts some good bargains into their reserves. Good luck I never managed to get promoted from the championship in my first go with Leeds so dont have the problems you are having luckily lol.

lolololol yes I wish I hadn't been promoted, the board wanted a mid-table finish d:[

I've changed in my tactic to what Ryan suggested and I've already seen a huge improvement but I'm still losing. The damage may already be done but i've spent up on Torge, Wijnaldum and Bocaly. Brought in Brandy on loan as Baxter is out for 5 months.

Thanks for the help guys. Is it ever possible go down and NOT get sacked? hehe d:]
