Zarate (£3million) scored 25 in the first season for me as Man U.

I signed him as 3rd choice (sold Saha), but he ended up being a regular when Tezez got a long-term injury.

Also, Billy Sharp (£4million) scored 10 goals as my 4th choice striker, including the 4th goal in my 4-1 European Cup Final win over Barcelona. He only started 12 games I think...

I'd recommend signing both of them, as they're great for the money they cost...

Billy Sharp is awesome at least 20 goals a season for my Sunderland team along with a few assists loves scoring against the big teams. Not sure how much he would cost i got him for £20 million over 24 months Adriano from Inter should score loads for Man Utd

And to the original poster, next time use the Man Utd thread so the forums is tidier, however, since there cant be much done about this thread now, I suggest you buy:
- Matias Fernandez and retrain him upfront.
- Briand looks rather good, as a back up at the most though.
- Owen.
- Martins, both him and Owen are available for around £10M.
- Cavani should be available at that price in the first season
- Balotelli
- Pazzini

slang.that was just how i usually txt and email and everyone seems to understand bt as 'one' should speak good english, 'one' will talk like this from now on.and just to point out to nudge that if you go on FM08 editor owen has a 70% hatred rating with the man utd board and fans.i bought him for around 12m before and he couldnt hit a barn door from 10 paces and the man utd board n fans disagreed with the signing i made for him
