That means that you can keep him in your team but he cant play for you at all. Your only option is to send him out on loan to a WP feeder club or hope that a club in some other country where the WP issues dont exist want him on loan.

A work permit turned down but yet can still sign for a club? Post #3
How old is he? If he is under 21/22, he will probably go to your feeder club till he can get a work permit, but if he is over that he will most probably reject. So under 21, accept, but over 21 reject.

No he will play for your team once he's eligible for a WP. That depends on a lot of different factors tbh. But he'll have to either complete a certain number of years playing in a country (3-5 years, depending on country) or play a certain amount of international matches for his country. If he's a youngster, just sign him and send him out on loan to your WP feeder club (you're sure to have one else you wouldnt have been able to sign him at all). If its in Spain or Belgium then I think it takes about 3 years to get a WP. Keep offering him a new deal after every 2-3 months or so and you might just get lucky and they'll grant him the WP.

Yeah do that. I think it takes 3 years for him to get a WP if you keep sending him to a feeder club in Poland. But like I said, keep offering him a new contract after every few months and you might lucky at some point and get a WP approved for him.
