Has anyone noticed that the teams coming up from lower divisions every season seem to dominate first season up. Played 4 seasons so far split between two games in Conference South, and almost always, the team that comes up runs away with the league. So far this has happened with Bath City and Braintree most noticeably, but it does seem the upcoming teams have many more quality players than those currently in the Conference South. Bath City generally come up first season and win the league by about 16 points, and then Braintree become available.
Playing with them as a local team, I moved from the South African Premiership with the Dangerous ******* (Dragged a team of no-hopers up from the first division via the playoffs over there and was looking for a greater challenge). I won the first 15 games of the season by generally a 3 goal margin, and it seems questionably easy. Would you advise I look for another team to work on, and is this an actual fault in the game or my imagination....

Overstrong teams promoted from lower leagues? Post #2
seems to be the opposite in my game, the newly promotees get relegated and the relegated team(s) from the Conference end up winning it in March, getting a bit fed-up with runaway leaders

What size database do you use TtD?
The reason I ask is that on HUGE most of the clubs eligible for promotion will have relatively full squads, of distinctly similar to Conf N/S standard players.

Was entertaining in South Africa, ended up in the first season with 8 points seperating the top 12 clubs, does seem to be a much greater difference in the UK leagues....
Wonder whether the results are down to me taking a scots mod approach to signing youth players though. *Goes off to ponder idea and thrash Basingstoke (seems to be traditional with me, my teams always mistake the Basingstoke defence for a sieve it seems)*
