Finally got myself logged on here and I have been checking out the LLM forum. Having discovered that the only major difference between the way I play normally and the rules on here was use of the player search option I decided to give it a go.

Thanks to Frank I am now in charge of SK Zemplin Michalovce in the Slovakian 2nd Division. I cant even pronounce that and I have no idea where they are.

I've set the game up as a sort of Eastern European gane with lots of countries so hopefully lots of scope for development. My enourmous transfer budget of £0 might prevent me from discovering much of that scope though.

Normal database, this should be a good opportunity to see how well my PC handles this game as well. Fingers crossed, I'm off to look at a map.

Normal db will probably hinder you, but meh. Welcome to the forums :thup:

Yeah, just figured that out. Would I be better of with a huge db and less nations? There isn't a single unattached scout or coach. Time for a rethink. Same setup but without all the leagues I put in first time around.

Blasted. Damn. Bloody. Crashes.

In my 2nd season.

Oh well. A creditable 6th in my 1st season despite being favourites for the drop. Couldn't sort out my away form before the winter break. Found it after the break but lost my home form somewhere. Never looked like going up but never looked like going down. Success.

Got to the 2nd round of the cup where I got beat at home by the eventual league winners. Biggest gate of the season and very nice for the coffers.

Managed to upset all of my best players after the last game of the season because I fined one of them for getting sent of for the 2nd time that season. The club had made money over the season and I was looking forward to having some money to spend next year.

Unfortunately that didn't work out and I was rock bottom when it crashed after 7 games. Without a single decent midfielder I was struggling to create chances despite being decent at he back.

But nows its gone and it wont come back.

Oh well, best go and find out what far flung corner of the world I'm off to next.
