after playing a few games with big clubs (i always do this with a new version just to learn the game) i have taken on the task of getting redditch into the premiership. llm is by far the best way to play the game.
anyway my question is after finishing my first season in the conference north (just missing out on a play off place) i have started the new season in the conference south, is this a bug or could it be because redditch is in the middle of the country?
how much money do you need to be able to offer premiership or championship teams to accept a friendly, the money would come in very useful, having being restricted to buying no players so far (no transfer fund and no extra wage bill) loan players are great but i have found that their clubs want them back after the season and don't let them go again.
another thing, possibly a bug, i found a premiership reserve player (it says no tips so i won't name him, but he did well for me in a previous game with a big club) who i could afford the wages for, wanted £75 a week and contract expired at the end of the season, compensation to his club was £210,000 so i waited till he was released on a free, i checked again the day before this happened and he was still asking for £75 a week to join me, as soon as he was released went to sign him, but now is has no intterest in me at all

Dunno where Redditch is, but you got relocated. Not a bug.

No idea whatsoever.

You were supposed to pay compensation because he was under 23 years old. As for mot wanting to sign after being released, it's only natural,as he's available for every club in the country for nothing, you're not his only chance anymore.
In RL a Prem team would send out a 2nd or 3rd string side against Conf North opposition, which wouldn't lead to a sold out stadium. You frequently see in pre-season a team listed as playing 2 nights in a row- it's not the same players. Hence it is not realistic to organise games against Prem **** for cash- enjoy your poverty!

The geography of the teams promoted and relegated into the Conference Regional is a factor on this, though a bug is there. Why else have Thurrock and Hornchurch now be in Conference North in my game, both of whom play in London?

It's not about money, it's about your repuation. If you don't have a good reputation, you won't get a lucrative friendly. However, you might find a local team may be willing to play.

Without even going into the rest, you need to revisit the part of the LLM Guidelines where it says previous game knowledge must not be used.
