Why is it that when you try to loan a player and they turn you down, they quite often end up joining a club that are lower than you in the league?

I'm manager of St Albans by the way, the league doesn't get any lower than that!

Having said that, ended up mid table in my first season.

Loans, or rather the inconsistency of loans, is one of the areas where CM/FM has always fallen down, wrt LLM.

It's frustrating when your scouts find a decent prospective loanee and he turns his nose up at you and joins another Club in a Division below.

Another is when the SC turns down a £5k p/w offer and signs for another team at £500 a week.

It blows, but those are the breaks.

It's all got to do with Club reputation, I'm led to believe.
