I have decided tp jump in at a Conference North/South team, I haven't decided who yet as I'm loading the game but does anyone have any advice on what kind of players you need to be successful in the lower depths of football

Thanks

Basically guys less than 60 years of age and with no physical disabilities, Grimsby-bloke.

Guys that will work for nothing and sign for free and do a bit of scouting and physio work in their spare time.

Those are the types I go for.

Oh, and...we don't do tips in here. Read the Forum Header.

You need footballers... 2 legs preferable.. Visual inpairments could be a hinderance... No pets.. (on the pitch anyway) and any previous ball kicking experience (prison guards, bodyguards, boxers and evil women are included!) thats the best tips I can give you!!

It's not the hard way...it's the only way.

Yoda-esque statement.

If you throw the words around a wee bit the is.

Yarr... rushing leads to incredibly crappy mistakes.

'the' is obviously ment to be 'that'.

Well, slowly I am learning the ropes, but slowly.

I took control of Bradford Park Avenue of the Conference North and 14 games in, I sit on 14 points laying in 17th position having scored 20 and conceded 20.

The season so far has been rather unlucky but I managed to bring in 11 players on permanent deals, most of these youngsters and 2 experienced players, one of whom is an ex-international star and another just a non-league striker from Lincoln Utd.

When it comes to loans I have only brought 3 in so far, all until the end of the season. A goalkeeper rotting in a Premiership reserve squad, a midfielder with a promising future ahead of him despie being 22 from a Championship side and a pacy 19 year old wanting to make a name for himself at Bradford PA.

I will re-update at the end of the season

Humm... Premiership and Championship players on loan? I know they're in the reserves, and I know that all the other teams in Conference North/South seem to loan players at will from the top two divisions, but is it realistic? Really? Most of us here probably wouldn't dream of looking beyond League Two for loanees...
