At the moment I am happily playing FM07, & for the 1st time since 1993 when the series was released, will most likely not get the latest version. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, although the game once patched will be an improvement on its predecessor, as they always are, I didn't see anything new as a LLM to buy it, except for gimmicks, which don't interest me. Secondly, & more importantly, I am enjoying my present game, & as I play really slow it takes me awhile to advance, & I usually get the new version just when I am getting into it.
The one thing I have noticed in recent days have been discussions about how the young players take longer to reach their potential, & are now more relaistic in that aspect. Is this true? As this is one thing that would please me, as I always find it a bit amusing when Lower league teams are full of youngsters who in most cases play better than your or other teams experienced players, reaching their peak in their teams, which doesn't happen in real life. If true, hopefully we wont see any more posts from people saying my all conquering heroes average age is 18-19 & such nonsense.
