I don't know if I'm missing something, but I can't find anywhere I can see the age of the chairman. When I try to click on his name there is no link to a profile.

Is it supposed to be like this?

I'd ask in GQ but people there are most likely tell me to look in a save game editor or similar such 'utility'.

I've seen it in GQ that one of the reasons a takeover can happen is if the current chairman is too old.

I've yet to experience a takeover in FM, the one I had at Dumbarton or Forfar (can't even remember which) in the clan happened when I wasn't online!

I can only assume that you need to use forbidden tools to find out.

I can't recall any chairman having a viewable profile.

He's actually been an excellent chairman to be fair, but I just want to experience a takeover some time before I die myself.

As far as I know (which isn't too far), the age of the chairman doesn't pop up...

However, I have experienced a takeover, I think it had to do with finances (in Ukraine), not so much with the age of the big cheese.

In an earlier CM incarnation, you could click on the Chairman's name and get a wee profile thingie - don't think it's been in any of the FMs though, and not sure when it actually disappeared from the series. But I do remember trying it in a new version and thinking "Ah, that doesn't work any more".

Funnily enough, Simon, chairman stats is one of the things the Arse command used to let you see.

Wasn't the chairman's profile taken out due to some sort of copyright?

As mkus said, the ARSE command used to enable the chairman's profile to be viewable amongst other things, but that command died with CM03-04 IIRC.
