Craig: there is another command that replaces ARSE, I think. This leads to another question: Does adding this kind of command a violation to LLM?

Also, I heard that the chairman profiles were hidden because this may lead to legal matters. (I can't think of any examples though.)

The "ARSE" command was virtually mandatory in LLM, I seem to remember

panda. It was because it said how likely chairmen were to invest, how patient they were etc. I guess some of them may not have liked the generated stats.

There was another command in the later CM versions, but from what I remember, it was phased out.

Here is an example: Chairman had a financial management stat that is low. Said chairman in real life wouldn't be too happy about that, especially if it was untrue.

The ARSE command itself used to add events at the start of the game that you would encounter later on when the game was full of regens, such as pushing the ref and receiving a global ban. ARSE made the game more realistic from the start which made it part of LLM.

I miss those days. Having players caught on camera making rude gestures to the crowd, or signing a goalie only to have him assaulting a referee on his first match and getting a six-month ban. That never happens nowadays

Did ARSE actually stand for anything?

This was, of course, before my FM days.

I always assumed that, bearing in mind what it brought to the game, it just meant that players were more likely to be an arse.
And yes. Nothing like having a player banned for 6 months for punching a ref in a reserve match.
