Although I've never done it, it certainly is a normal thing to do.
Many times I've seen Man Utd's manager manage Utd on a saturday, and then be at a game on the sunday, running the rule over a team that they will be coming up against over the next few weeks.
From a LLM point of view, the manager of my local non league team, goes and watches games on a tuesday, wednesday and sunday each week scouting for new players.
I guess the answer is if you can be arsed to do it, then fine, most people like me just use the scouts.
I think i have been abit naive. In LLM rules when viewing the League/General News items and it says stuff like "Player A bags a brace, oh what a player".
Am i able to use this as a path to Scout him? Or do i ignore this (and hope my scout finds him) as it is only the Media's opinnion?
A final thought on watching games from my humble point of view is that if you are going to watch games the only way this can be done & remain within the spirit of LLM is to watch the full match. Highlights either key or extended just wouldn't cut it as if you actually went to watch a game IRL you wouldn't be able to skip passed the dull moments.
