Personally I prefer Pes08. Fifa seems odd. It is very slow and playyers rarely run onto through balls. Whereas with PES it is fast, up-beat, realistic, and all-round great. Although Pes hasnt really changed too much gameplay wise, it yet again beats Fifa hands down in my opinion.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008: 9.5/10
Fifa 2008: 6.0/10

Others may think different. Oh, and I have them both for 360.

i have both on PS3 and i think that if you want a more realistic game in terms of proper teams and a whole load more teams than Pro. But in terms or gameplay and graphics and online, then Pro is a hell of a lot better. The online games on fifa 08 are very laggy and about 1 in 3 or your games will lose connection whereas about 1 in 50 will on Pro. Although i have played about 200 online games on Pro and only 1 has lost connection (probably because i was playing someone from new zealand.)

I find that PES2008 is terrible online, huge lag problems and no solid patch to fix them yet. Hence I bought FIFA 08, I rarely get lag on it even playing 5 VS 5. I hate FIFA 08 gameplay but I solely play it for the online experience until PES2008 is fixed.
