Hey, never posted on here before but chose to take a look after coming to the conclusion this version of FM is, basically, crap.
Thought i'd give the game with 8.0.1 a chance, started a new game - I always start unemployed and play the game as it comes, with the club I support being my ultimate managerial goal.
Anyway! Just a small note, I came to the end of my contract with Carlisle and they were yet to offer me a new one, come mid-June the board set out expectations and I chose promotion, as I felt with a few additions I could take them up. Proceeded to offer contracts to key free agents and new deals to expiring players at the club. Anyway, sorted, tied down some good talent.

Then the new contract offer came in. They offered me 27k a week LESS as wage budget than they had a week before! By this time i'd used the 50k as a template and now i'm getting bollocked every month for an 'obvious lack of control over the spirialling wage budget' - wtf!! lol
I dunno, they need to start again for the next one - this version's been pretty poo.

I'm judging the game on 12 seasons on the release edition and 3 on the new patch....personally it's the poorest version of the newer generation.
