Default Transfer fees getting ridiculous?

2015. I have a young goalkeeper that has the potential to be a star in the Premiership.

A news article recons that I will be receiving bids of £53m.

Arsenal just spent £32m on a 27 year old.

I have a Brazilian CB as a target. He has a minimum release clause of £128m.

I cannot buy any player for less than £12m. A fullback for £14m is my best hope.

Anyone else having the same issues?

i recently spent £45M on dani alves. really didn't want to spend that much, but despite offering two players that sevilla wanted + £25M, they didn't let him go, or transfer list him.

i have nearly £50M left to spend, which i won't use. i generally sign 1 £12+ player per summer because of the diabolical asking prices.

On 06 I sold Shaun Wright-Phillips for 26million and bought him back a uear later or 3.5.

What annoys me on 08 is that clubs ask for anywhere between 3-5 times the players value when you enquire about one thier players, yet they continually make offers of around 1.5-2 the value of your star players.

That's pretty much how it works in real life, though - clubs ask stupid money for their best players in the hope that no one will pay it.

It's annoying that they continually make derisory offers (or ask to loan them) for my best players though.

Should I point out that Chelsea have a mega billionaire at the helm of the club.

The transfer system does need tweeking and that's a fact. When you have Guisepi Rossi being bought in the second season of my Fm2008 game for £37 + million then you know something's wrong, and no I didn't buy or sell him.

Obviously the programmers at Si are getting lazy.

I also feel it's so easy to gather money over a couple of seasons. Too much money seems to get built up and not distributed out like real life clubs. After 9 months in charge of my first season my Notts Forest side had a bank balance of just over £12 million...
