Has anyone else seen any dodgy releases?
Starting a new save and in late December 2007 West Ham released Lee Bowyer and Man City released Haman (sp?) both were snapped up pretty quickly Bowyer by Derby and Haman by Sheff Utd. Fair enough they may not need the player anymore but paying them compensation to get rid of them is ridiculus especially so close to the transfer window even if they sold them for pennies surely that would be better than making a loss on them.

this used to happen a lot and i think it was fixed in the first patch (and obviously the last one too).

I recently had to reinstall FM08 and patched it with the newest patch so I am fully patched up does the newest patch contain the bug fixes and tweaks from the 2 beta patches as well or do they just assume you have all the patches because this is happening allot Gavin Mccann just left Bolton.

not sure why that is happening in your game, i'm fully patched too and it hasn't happened once compared to every other day pre-patch... maybe it didn't include the beta patch fixes. as long as it doesn't mess up your game and you have to re-install again, find and apply the previous patches. it shouldn't cause a problem tbh. i assumed that all the fixes were included in the last patch, but if that is still happening, i must be wrong.

I haven't noticed any other bugs from either release or previous patches besides this though which is what is weird I used to get the Irish feeder team thing every time with 8.0.0 now Its the Belgians lol but every other bug I noticed has been fixed yet Prem or championship quality players are getting the sack all the time I mean dont get me wrong its a fantastic source of either good players for cheap or a quick profit but its not particularly realistic.
