"The board wants the team to be a challenger for the Premier Division title by the end of the two-year plan.
The board are concerned with the team's performance last season. They have strongly urged you to start progressing towards the long-term targets set."
"The minimum expectation is that the team achieve a respectable league position within the Premier Division this season.
The board are delighted that the team won the Premier Division this season."
These two statements seem to contradict each other somewhat. I noticed as well that straight after winning the PL my overall board summary went from "very pleased" down to "satisfied". What's going on?
they were listing replacements for me towards the end of the second season, despite being top until the end. i asked for a new contract before the end of that season, and they declined.
then they were scared of me not signing a new contract after i won the league a week later. dumb thing is, if i didn't win on the last day, i would have been released.
needs to be fixed in the patch, as it has been said countless times in these forums.
Well the week before I had "Congatulations, you have done well in almost every competition you have entered" or something to that effect. It makes no sense that the Premier League bar should be filled up with green, and the "Long-term expectations" bar should be 1/4 filled with yellow, when I've quite obviously achieved more than the long-term expectations suggested!
I kept Sunderland up in my first season finishing 10th their expectation was to avoid relegation, I exceeded cup expectations by 1 round in FA cup (Arsenal lol) and got to the semi's of the league cup when they wanted 4th round (Arsenal again) I had 2 transfers the players thought was a marveous piece of business and one that "required justification" the fans said that he was "an economic purchase" I bought him for 95k and sold him for 1.2 mil and they were "satisfied" with my performance WTF any supporter who had a manager who exceeded expectations in all competitions made two fantastic signings and made 1.1 million profit on another would be delighted but no you make one signing the board or fans aren't ablsolutly delighted in and their confidence in you drops rapidly.
Sorry for double post but alas no editing.
"I had 2 transfers the players thought was a marveous piece of business" Should be fans not players and forgot to mention its also why I dont bring players on loan anymore I experimented once I bought and Arsenal youth who started nearly every game for me scorded a few and set a few up the confidence bar was 3/4ths full I restarted with the same team loaned him he played similarly fair enough it wont be 100% accurate but the confidence bar was just under half full which is as high as I have ever gotten it for a loanee.
