Seen one too many topics (An one really long thread where someone pointed out ALL the issues with it)...
Can SI please tell me if they're working on it in the patch or going to work on it for the next game? Instead of trying to implement things, what would be nice if you could just focus on the transfer system an get it all to a realistic level.
I don't expect to be having to pay £40M+ for every single quality player, an for every other good youngster, clubs seem to want £20M for them.
Don't think SI grasped the whole system - most unrealistic load of bull i've seen in an FM game.
***My Main Gripe Right Now***
I'm currently Barca on the game an i'm aftr Daniel Alves... i've made him seriously unhappy an hacked off that he wants to leave Seville for a new challenge an wants to join my club.
They've been asking for ridiculous amount upto £47M... I've tabled a bid of £25M an they still won't accept, errrm why?
He's a quality player, but they have him really unhappy at the club an it isn't good for the dressing room - so in reality, getting £25M for him is a pretty good f***ing deal don't you think? So why are my bids being rejected?
I had the same problem with Alves but got him for £33m in the end.
however, what I would say is if someone was offering you £25m for you best player - would you take it? Probably not. If he requested a transfer, maybe, but I would keep him for as long as I could.
Also, selling to one of your main league rivals is not ideal.
I agree. This is one thing about the game which needs redoing. I feel forced to buy young players and count on them because I can't spend on quality players as they cost so much. Its been the same for a while, you always have to overpay for decent players. I can't see it being fixed in the patch and it will probably be similar in FM09
