You don't need defensive intelligence , super goalkeepers take care of everything, it is like all FPS , hack 'n' slash , RPG games, you drible past the minions and at the end you have to face the Boss with the million HP
I must admit though my keeper,Ustari saved my ass a million times but still he is a world class goalie not like bywater who kept a clean sheet against me even though there was 18 shots on target,come on who is that good...

It's simple cause and effect analysis.
Super Keepers are not the problem, (cause). They are one of the symptoms, (effect).
Cmon guys there is no such thing as a super keeper. All keepers in RL are freeks and can teleport themselves all over the place. Dont you watch football? Keepers are the gun baby yeh! What a f@#king joke! I dont mind watching decent attribute players play well, but when you see really bad ones do exactly the same thing as good ones you must be joking SI. The fag boys oh I mean fan boys will tell you its all your fault. Its your tactics that made that 7 reflexes keeper save 3 shots from point blank in a row zapping corner to corner.
Great post. The 'fag boys' will tell you that your tactics are to blame because they are. The ME isn't the best atm because it's far too easy to create chances. However, this is a game and most of the time in games, you have to do something to 'trick' the AI to beat it. Fm is no different, it may not be perfect but if you get your tactics right this is not a problem.
Hopefully it will be sorted out for 8.0.2 so that everyone can stop moaning and creating a new thread about the same problem 2000 times a day.
I'm Villareal in second season, currently top by 7 points losing one game along the way. Conceded 8 goals in the league, and getting 2.5 goals a game. Obviously I have no complaint here you will say, which is correct I don't, my problem lies in the champions league!!
Played all 6 group games, but for some reason my very solid defence seems to forget how to defend in Europe. But my main problem is keepers in Europe, I had Roma, CSKA Moscow and Galatasary in my group. In five of the group games AI keeper gets MOM, in the other game he gets 8 only beaten by some 32 year old brazilian playing for Galatasary who had V.poor morale, no goals and average rating of 6.22. Surprisingly enough he gets his first two goals of the season and gets a 9. Anyway I digress. Akinfeev got two 9's against me, Doni got two 9's( by the way he had got no 9 rating all season and v.poor morale as Roma are doing crap in league) and Galatasary keeper gets two 8's. In all of the other champions league games in my group there was one other MOM awarded. Something tells thats not right!!!
