Is there a secret to scoring on free kicks ?
I've managed sides with some of the very best free kick takers in the game and unless the ball deflect off the wall these players never score. Out of 100 kicks I might have scored 1 or 2 with guys like Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Riquelme, etc...
Anything in setting them up that I'm missing ?

I score a fair amount of Free Kicks when I have a good FK taker... not sure what you're doing wrong or what to suggest though, I'm assuming you set your Free Kick takers according to your player's abilities'...

Have no problem scoring direct from free kicks. I just make sure my best free kick taker is set up to take them.

Ive scored a few goa;s from free kicks. All you need to do is train the players well.

on my game i have the highest goals from direct free kicks in the league i have scored 17 with jason koumas and those are the only 17 hes scored for me

spot on. van der vaart and van persie are fb at free-kicks in my game.

I have no trouble scoring from direct free kicks but I really struggle scoring from ifk's so if anyone has success with ifk's then please share your method
