Question about the Indian League and Foreign Players
In the League Rules for India, it says "no player restrictions". On FMWiki, and on the "Ultimate League Guide for FM2007" on this forum, it says 3 foreign players in the match squad. Also when i check players rosters in India, the "Fgn" icon appears on some players.
Did the rule change between 2007 and 2008? Not that i'm considering a move from my comfortable job in the Icelandic Premier, but maybe as a next step down the road...

But what in FM? As i said, the league rules say "no player restrictions". Is this an error in the league rules (i.e. there really are no player restrictiong in FM, contrary to what India does IRL), or an error in the text itself (i.e. the game still only allows 3 foreigners, despite what the rules say)?

It could be that there are no restrictions on the number of foreign players in the squad and that is what the text is refering to but when it comes to match rules there are restrictions which just aren't mentioned on that page.
When it comes to the Asian Champions League there is a limit of 3 foreign players which could explain the 'Fgn' tags next to the players

Does Germany have no foreigner restrictions in FM still? It did in FM07 which is wrong since IRL there are foreigner restrictions (like 5 in a match squad or something). Anyway if they aren't getting it right for Germany, not much hope of them getting it right for India.

yeah this is probably right, its not just india, theres other leagues like that, i think france says the same thing on the league information screen but i later found theres a 4 non eu player limit. if not that then it was elsewhere, i distinctly remember the league rules not matching in a few leagues when i actually started a job there
