It's not that at all. Some people go over the top to try and prove some kind of point. It's like calling your best mate a fag - a word that is still used to indicate someone as a homosexual. You aren't really calling your mate a homosexual, and you probably didn't try to disrespect him/her either.

It's called being taken out of context - which happened in this thread.

This is pointless and it has sweet FA to do with FM, so i'm just going to leave it at that. It should probably be closed.

This has very little to do with political correctness.

I find the use of the word "retarded" in the manner that it was used offensive. A lot of people do. Why use it?
