By some minor miracle, I won the FA Cup whilst in the Championship - meaning I get a season in the UEFA Cup.

However, my squad are suffering due to fixture congestion. One week I played Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday and then Saturday again. The Thursday fixture was a UEFA Cup tie, and in real life the Tuesday game would have been postponed.

Anyone else get this?

Its very annoying. Very! Especially when your squad size is as small as mine was. Never mind, negotiated it now, and after Group Stages it seems to be okay now (If I remember correctly)

Yeah it happens all the time when you're involved in a few competitions towards the end of the season.
It happened to me a couple of times.
I also blame it for costing me winning the league .
As i had to play,sat,mon,wed,fri,sun.the last week of the season.
There used to be an option in a previous version where you could apply to have a game postponed due to exceptional circumstances.
It should be re-introduced to stop this happening.
All your seasons hard work gone in a week.

It used to be like that on 07, but this was happening in the first few weeks of the season on 08.

I'll answer my own question.

They only played two UEFA matches, and each time they did not have a mid-week fixture scheduled anyway.

This isn't just an issue with the Championship, but also with the EPL. I had to play Man U 4 times with a week and a half because of the EPL, FA Cup, and CL. It was a bit of a stretch even for my Liverpool team!
