i've downloaded the skysports pop up and 3d players, im using fm06, people have told me where to put them but they're not working

Make sure you have turned off the skin cache, then exit FM and reload it.

Also make sure the skin you are using doesn't use it's own popups or player icons.

how do i check if the skin im using uses its own pop ups and player icons?

Goto:
\Football Manager 2006\data\skins\SKIN_NAME\graphics\pitch if it has it's own popup/balls/nets etc... folders then it uses its own, either delete these, or copy your new ones to here aswell so these are overwritten.

(SKIN_NAME is the name of the skin you are using/checking).

there's only a pop up folder in the skins folder, but in the main file there is nets, icons and dugouts?
