Hi Steven!
I wanted to swap Aruba and France. I created about 377 teams, and all swaped with french teams like you explained. But when I want to start a new game with aruba, i get an error message (a serious erros has been... in folder c.....\football manager 2006).
Can it be that French system also doesn't like to be edited?

Eleven11 - The french leagues have a super cup thing like the FA community shield were the winner of the domestic cup and the league play eachother make sure you have set the cup and league with a history just 2005's winners and runners up otherwise it wont work

I did it already I think the problerm is Regional Divisions and CFA 2. But I did the same with Belgian League and it works. Well i get 4 or 5 times "Array access out of...." message, but I can create a new game with created teams.

Iam gonna make one and replace all of the English leagues with Vietnam teams or somthing.

i'm playing with your world league and my team is barcelona. i want to use my "B TEAM" as a second team in conference league. i swapped a team with my b team. no problem yet. But, my B TEAM achieve promotion. After that league crashes. i tried to change team type as second team. No change. B TEAM can not promote and game will crash. Is there any solution to play B TEAM in a league.

hmmmm odd, make sure the B team is set as a B team, if it is, try setting it as a reserve team - using club, Barcelona B in the club panel>team type.

This is class, looking for this kind of thing for ages as i tried a world league and didn't work.

What did you do to get the B and C teams into the reserve league? They are still assigned to the original division..?

In the editor, choose the B or 2 team, change it to reserve, it will now play in the reserve leagues (likewise you can make a C team play in an U18 league...)

For your info. I'm currently building a UI utility for creating super leagues! Via drag'n'drop you can drop teams in the English competition, rename it, add some start money, make every nation ECC, etc, etc.
