The transfer window is closed so it's time for one heck of an update! Please note that this isn't the last version of the update. You guys get one week to post the final errors/mistakes/changes/forgotten transfers. After that week we will release the final version.
We've given a lot of attention to every league we could get any information off. Especially the English lower divisions have been done with a huge amount of transfers. There are already a lot of updates with the latest world transfers but I doubt there will be an update with this amount of lower league transfers! All we can see is... check it out for yourself!
We also want to ask the visitors to be so kind to register an account on FMFormation if you're going to use this database update. Once you've registered we would appreciate it if you click on the Thanks! button which you will see at the bottom of the first post.

Open the exe file and follow instructions. The installation folder is set as default to CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db\. If you've installed FM2006 to an another folder make sure you change it to the correct folder.
It is STRONGLY advised you backup your database incase of problems.
NOTE: We recommend that you install patch 6.0.3 before installing this update.

Does this update include competition histories, I would like an update without competition histories as I don't like having two winners of the 2006 Premier League etc.

A lot of players seem to be moving who've only just joined their new clubs.
I think this is beacause you haven't ticked the boxes to indicate that they've just joined the club and just started a new contract so the game doesn't recognise them as being new to the club.

I've noticed that quite a lot a player that has just joined a club(we'll take Sol Campbell as an example) feeling they have achieved all they can do at the club and putting in transfer requests despite the fact they've just joined.
