I recall many editors/makers of edits that negative points cannot be implemented. However, I have no recollection of any saying directly that positive points cannot be implemented before a season starts.
Basically, what I am wondering is whether it is possible to have the rest/most of the rest of the league at positive points at the beginning of the season and those with negative points to be less than those. For example, all? Serie B sides would begin with 17 points while Juventus begins with 0 points.
I am skeptical of this being able to happen but the question has to be asked.
Also, I know it may destroy historical records (such as most points in a season), but other than that it would be more realistic.
Starting point differences - what about positive?
