I am wondering what kind of creative freedom to players who have high flair but low or fairly low creativity.

For example, C. Ronaldo has high flair but rather low creativity. It seems he should be still given high creativity on the field. Does this apply to other players with high flair and low creativity?

And how about the opposite? A player with high flair but low creativity such as Huddlestone. Should he get high creativity?

A player with high creativity can create chances for the team (well, he sees the opportunity, whether he pulls it off depends on other attributes such as passing).

Flair is the tendency to do the unexpected. Not how good he is at it. Once again, other attributes determine this, such as technique.

High flair would be associated with him doing things like taking a man on and trying to beat him, which he obviously does quite a lot.

He's hardly a creative player. How often do you ever see him making amazingly clever passes that play people into space?.

i agree i use to get this mixed up until i understood that creativity is his ability to make chances for team and flair is doing something out of the normal (ie) back heel into goal or overhead kicks, surprise the opp' player

Thanks for the info. But I understand the difference between the two stats. But what I don't know is if (for example) I should give much creativity to a player who has high flair but low creativity.

If I don't (for example) give C. Ronaldo much creativity will it stifle his flair or ability to do the unexpected at all?

I want to give him the ability to do what he wants on the field even if that doesn't mean spraying creative passes all over.

Does this make my problem anymore clear?

Ronaldo has 20 for flair, so you dont need to encourage him I would say. Just dont tell him not to be creative..

I would only give a player high CF if he has high creativity, passing and decisions.
