That is basically the exact formation I was using. I was getting about 1.5 goals a game.
I have now moved the AMC to actually play properly upfront, left everything else the same and am now getting about 4.5 a game. Obviously that is great but I wonder if I can get the same with only 1 upfront.

I will try glynners suggestion of moving the AMR/AML to FR/FL

Thats the best formation, conceeds very few goals and also creates lots of chances. Works best with two realy good DM's as this area is the key to making it work. I play the CB's and DM's with a very defensive mentality, full backs on normal mentality and the other four with very attacking mentality. It is also good to have a very good MC that is creative and use him as the playmaker.

farrows going to top of field on wingers, have AMC making forward runs often and make sure his long shots and finishing are good. Have the striker hold up the ball.

I might post about this tactic soon, it's working wonders for me at celtic, Jarosik is scoring about 8 in 10 from the AMC pos.
