It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Fantastic start to the season

I'm in my 3rd season with Derby and the last part of the 2nd season I used my new tactic, I have beaten all the big teams convincingly.

The start of my 3rd season I am unbeaten and the training and tactic is working better than the first two seasons.

1st season CH - 4th (won play off)
2nd season PRM - 15th
3rd season PRM - 1st unbeaten (ongoing)

I will break it down to key points.

*Train the strikers atleast medium goalkeeping for 1 on 1's

*Establish a good link with a top team for loans and buying / selling players. You can get good players this way.

*get your team to close down for most of the match

*Don't use a target man, this way they play more as a team and your attackers get their fair share of the ball, notice massive difference watching the match

*Counter attack always and defend deep, not too deep, play direct and wide.

*AML + AMR + FC Must be quick and have high dribbling stats, if you are short then retrain some quicker players

*Max out your coaches, try and get 4 star for everything minimum, it's possible with Championship sides

*Pay attention to training every week and month, if it's too hard for them make a new scheduele under their name and lower it slightly till he is happy. I have about 6 players on their own scheduele and it's all green

*If you are out of form, use the media to syke up your players but don't over do it

*Find your base tactic that you are happy with and like then build on it don't give up. Also if it starts to faulter then start looking at opposition instructions and go from there, my favorite is going hard on the less brave and it works if you got a good ref.

My tactic is now..

1-3-2-1-2-1 & 1-2-2-2-2-1

un orthodox I know but it's working.

Try the methods out they will work, I was stuck for goals then re-arranged everything and it's mind blowing how the lone striker can dribble the whole team lol.

Hope it helps

The one-on-one attribute (in the goalkeeper training) is only for goalkeepers. If you want your outfield players to be better at one-on-one, train their composure (shooting)

I dont believe it personally. I'd rather have intensive shooting training.
