hello there, im an oldie (been playing fm&cm since cm3), my problem keeps getting bigger and bigger as far as tactics are concerned..
Yes, i tried creating custom tactics, yes i tried tweaks in tactics such as zenith's or crazy's 4-2-2-2 V.2 tactic....im asking here, anyone who had success with Spurs (success being top-4 in league), tactic please???.
My problem with the above-mentioned tactics is inconsistency....i win 4-0 away at Man U and then i lose 3-2 home to watford.......Please help

so i take it noone has had succcess with spurs???... my transfers in season 1 are usually :billy jones, downing, darren bent, gareth bale, enyeama (robinson backup).. i usually sell chimbonda (need the money), stalteri, lee.

I made my own tactic from various pieces of information on here.

I'll upload it later for people to scrutinize or appreciate.

Im in my 5th season and so far...

1st Season - 4th (League Cup & UEFA Cup runners up)
2nd Season - 4th
3rd Season - 2nd (FA Cup runners up)
4th Season - 1st (Champions, Champions League winners)
5th Season - 1st (Champions, yet to play Champions League final, WCC Winners, SuperCup winners)

Its a basic 4-4-2.

conter-attack...deep defensive....quick tempo...mixed passes...often closing down....target men...these tactic so far working well for me...i'm managing spurs since 2007 till now 2014 & yet cruising me into a lot of winnings....had won 2 EPL in a row in 2012 & 2013....had also won all cups but the only thing i never won is champion league tittle...been in the final for 3 times....
