If you are clear favourites you can still attack and be solid. Make sure your wingers are set to man mark there wingers so they track back and don't have full farrows or forward runs often or they will get caught out of position.

From what I understand from wwfan is you should be playing a more conservative attacking tactic. Like you shoul still attack but not as much. Lower the def line and width a bit. Increases passing and tempo and check the counter attack box and you should be good. Of course lower som of the midfielders mentallity as well.

should i give winger man marking in home games as well?
and what if i want them to play more offensive? will a short farrow with no ofen forward run be ok?

I always have my wingers man marking or they do not track back allowing the opposition to get 1 on 1 with the full back or in behind.

It is fine to have a short farrow and I have forward runs on mixed but run with ball on often. This means they don'r run recklessly out of position and then not recieve the ball but still go forward and attack with it when they have the ball at their feet. They tend to see more of the bal this way too.

Hope this helps. If you decide to play counter attack away from home, I suggest team mentality very low, almost all the way down. This really draws teams out then you can hit them hard. Others may argue different but this is just what works for me. Hope this helps.

P.S Away from home full back only forward runs often or rarley if opp play high wingers ie Joe Cole and Robben in Chelsea formation.
